John Coelho is a left liberal activist and environmentalist who is concerned about radical Islam starting with the original fatwa against Salman Rushdie. He is deeply disgusted by the all too prevalent alliance between the left and both Islamists and Arab supremacists. He has found the Muslim reform movement to be heartening. He helped put on lectures by ex Muslims at the Seattle Atheist Church. He and a friend have been operating a left liberal anti totalitarian list serve called Euston USA for over 10 years. He had three resolutions passed by the Seattle 43rd District Democrats, one making persecution of apostates a hate crime, one supporting the placement of sanctions on the Iranian regime and another condemning the Trump administration’s removal of support from the Kurds in Syria.
