Shawnelle Martineaux is a Trinidadian attorney, writer, artist and aspiring bioethicist. She is passionate about human rights and the preservation of liberal western democracy and culture. As a citizen of a cosmopolitan country and an increasingly connected world, she understands the importance of diversity of thought and freedom of speech in fostering healthy societies. Of paramount importance to her are secular values, freedom, curiousity, and intellectual honesty.
