Sjúrður Skaale was first elected to the Danish Parliament in 2011. He is an experienced politician who always gives good speeches, he is also a stand-up comedian from the Faroe Islands, and he usually makes the politicians of the Danish Parliament laugh. This year, however, his speech was not funny, but serious and honest. It was about Salman Rushdie and about Israel, about the global threat of Islamists and about the death cult, Hamas. Skaale talked abou the challenge of people calling for jihad and intifada in the West and in Denmark.
Sjúður Skaale received enormous praise for his speech both from other politicians and party chairmen, as well as from the Prime Minister. His speech also went viral on the internet. Here is a link to Skaale’s speech:https://x.com/solbjorgLA/status/1796918218092675380
