Dr. Wafa Bahri is the director of the Translations Project at the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science in collaboration with the Center for Inquiry. She is a free thinker, human rights activist, and feminist from Tunisia. She is also a co-founder of Hypatia for Gender Justice, a forming organization that upholds equal rights and empowerment for women and children in North Africa and the Middle East. In addition to her academic publications, Dr. Bahri’s writings have been featured in several newsletters that advocate for liberal values and scientific truth such as FreeThought in Action, Amazigh Voice, and Raseef22.
