Debra Coplan is a board member of the AHA Foundation. She is a graphic designer. Debra received her BA in English Literature from UCLA. She also received a BA from Art Center College of Design. Debra is a board member of the AHA Foundation and a founding member of the Clarity Coalition.

Debra grew up in Los Angeles in a secular Jewish family. Her parents were involved in the Civil Rights Movement during the sixties.

Debra is a former board member of the ACLU. She is a feminist and has a history of fighting for women’s reproductive rights and equality and freedom of expression for all.

She lives in La Jolla, CA with her husband. Her son lives in New York.
